Among notable collectors who own his bronzes are former Presidents Reagan and Ford, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers and Wayne Newton. Richard A. Myer is a member of the American Indian and Cowboy Artists. Richard has exhibited in many prestigious art shows and galleries. He has done professional design work for a number of firms including Walt Disney Studios and a life-size model of a bear fighting a bull for the Tokyo Stock Exchange. He received a commission for a 3-8 ft. heroic bronze for a memorial park in Illinois. The bronze marker for John Wayne’s unmarked grave in Newport Beach, CA was also done by Richard. He also completed an 8 ft. bronze of Frank Miller, founder of the Mission Inn at Riverside, CA. His most recent bronzes have been commissioned by local communities. For Glendora he made a 5 ft. bronze owl which was placed over the fountain at Citrus College. Recently the city of Duarte unveiled a bronze plaque of Glenn Miller, which was placed in their city park.” Additionally Myer was commissioned to do two sculptures at Crow Park, Boulder City, NV. One is the bust of Frank Crow, Six Companies Construction Superintendent. Frank Crowe was the engineer in charge of the construction of Hoover Dam in 1931. The other sculpture is of a Hard Hat celebrating the construction workers who built Hoover Dam.
