A Unique Piece

John Grygiel is a 38 year old postal worker living in New York. He has mechanical drafting and design experience. He works on mixed-media sculpture that relate to technolgy and how it can interact with our lives today.

It shows how technoloogy can tear at our patience and psyche. Ultimately, my goal is to enlighten and entertain the community with a subject that is still in it's infancy. We are the first observers to the technical revolution, and decisions made about technology will impact humans in ways not yet imagined.

"Cyber Scream" was on of two technology art pieces on display at the Samuel E. Gallery in Schenectady, NY, from March 16, - May 4, 2002. I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Fox News regarding the show, and the piece was part of the news segment. This piece was also won honorable mention at the Stockade Art Show in September 2002, the only 3 dimensional artwork to do so.
