Suzanne Sable was born in 1926 in Paris France. In 1944 she enrolled at the "Ecole Superieure de Peinture et de Sculpture" for a four year term where she was granted twice by the city of Paris, First Prize for "Best over-all work of the year". For two years she studied anatomy and perspective at "L'Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris". She also took private lessons in painting ivory with the famous minatururists Georgette Ray. She began exhibiting in 1950 at the Grande Gallerie, Paris, at the Salon des Artistes Francais and became a member of the Salon des Metiers d'Art de France. In 1961 she won First Prize for a sculpture called "Christ" at the National Festival of Religious Art in Rochester, New York. In 1965, on the request of the Attache Cultural of the French Ambassade, Suzanne exhibited two of her sculptures at the French Pavillon of the New York World's Fair.
