A very rare nicely done original limited edition sculpture Titled "Conflict and Release", part of Eastons' series depicting rebirth. Shows old man (Silenius) follower of Dyonysos. Moves away to show Apollo within. Turn the mask full circle, inner perception clouded until mask is removed again. Multiple view shows new couple emerging from the shell of Marsyas. Rebirth is symbolized by new life in inner core. Was exhibited in 1981 , exhibition called "The Mask Divided." Signed on base. Height 14," WT. 40 lbs. Easton moved on to art only in 1980. His sculptures are considered to be quite rare.
